Warm Weather
13
Mon, 03-16-2009 - 1:24pm

I know that we will still have the cold weather. Now that it is getting warmer. I will not be on here as often. The Doctor and everyone tell me I need to get outside more.

I need to walk more. Should I take over my DH's job mowing the lawn. LOL

Mari I can't wait for the warmer weather to get here - we get teased by Mother Nature about 1 day a week right now and then the temps plumett - this week we get 3 days in the high 40's and low 50's before it goes back to 32F... for the first day of Spring....grrrrrr

Then I also may not be here as often - I need to be outdoors as much as possible - I'm in bad need of a good 'airing out'....lol

Once the warm weather hits I am in the gardens. We are going to start this week with cleaning them out and getting ready for planting. I didn't get as much done last year with being sick. So I am hopeing to really get a lot done this year.

No!! Definitely do not take over your DH's mowing!! That is way too much like work!! LOL!! Just walk the neighborhood so you can look at people homes and what flowers they have blooming, how they decorate their porches, how they do their window treatments, etc. I love doing that! Or, walk through a nearby park or around a pond or lake if you have an area like that.

Glad you mentioned it as my DH and I need to get out and walk now that the weather's warmer. I just put it on my calendar to help me get into the habit of it again.

When I was young. I would mow with a push mower without a battery. I wish I had one now. It would help me lose weight.

I do the lawn mowing as it is great exercise and helps to prevent osteoporosis (the pushing and pulling)... but have to say,,, if you take over the lawn mowing then give dh a different task to do!

Hoping even in the warm weather you'd be able to be here...
