Good Morning, afternoon or night, whenever you show up ;O)
Hope you all had a nice weekend.
Weather is overcast today, supposed to drop in temps,, we could REALLY REALLY use some nice hot weather. Please pray for NO rain for us today. As I was telling Mirimam in her thread,,, we had heavy rain on Sunday. When ds got to his new office this morning he found it had flooded (he's on ground floor) . He just finished the renovation end of January, all the new walls (plasterboard so they really act like sponges) have sopped up about 2 feet of water, all the furniture is ruined, the carpet etc. Dh and ds are trying to figure out if it was the rain or something in inside when haywire. I'm hoping something inside as we can not control the rain and the floods. sigh. I feel really bad for him, he's just getting his feet off the ground. I'll let you know how this progresses.
Have a nice week everyone...

Aw, what a shame about your dh's office! I hope he gets it fixed soon and the problem can be fixed so it won't happen again.
I'm doing okay. I really don't think my foot is broken, because I can walk almost normally on it and I don't think I'd be able to do that if it were broken. It's still bruised, but not more than it was, and maybe less. I was even able to go downstairs to do laundry today without much pain.
So - and don't yell at me - I'm going to wait to call the doc. I know she'd insist on seeing me and would do x-rays and all to tell me what I'm almost sure of already. So I'm keeping it up when I can and keeping an elastic bandage on it much of the time, for support, and doing my own spells of p/t (easy flexing exercises to keep it limber and maybe help the ligaments heal). If it doesn't feel better by the end of the week, though, I will call the doc and have it checked out.
As for my week, it looks pretty normal (except that I don't have my

hope everyone has a great day!
Hi Amber, hope you get
I've read your posts about the flooding, including the one to Miriam. What an exasperating thing to happen!! Good it was a water heater problem and not the rain, for one thing because insurance should cover it being that it wasn't from the rain. I hope it doesn't take too long
Oh Ann,
what's up on the check,, will you be leaving ?
Hey donna, that is so cute about the birdies... so cute.
Thanks, I appreciate the pep talk and I'll only drive "The Tank" when I have to, lol!
I think I'm feeling embarrassed because I always thought of myself as a good, careful, defensive driver and then I go and run into someone! That just isn't like me, LOL!
