As you may remember, we had a discussion awhile back about spending time alone. I have always needed a healthy amount of alone time my whole life and felt and saw the benefits thereof. My DH could not understand this as he has always been a "we" person all of his life. After attempting to explain it to him, he respected my need, but still could not understand it.
He found this article this morning and now he understands it a bit more. I don't feel a need to do all of the things listed, especially going away alone for a whole weekend as I would rather have J with me, but I do find many of the suggestions appealing. There may be some information that is valuable to someone here or to someone you know to whom you can pass this information along to......

my dh does not understand the concept of alone time, unless it meant dropping the kiddies off at the pool LOL(sorry tmi, but seriously, thats what he thinks)
Thanks for the link. I really loved it and I bookmarked it so I can go over it more later!!!
"Dropping the kiddies off at the pool" would be nice if it would give your DH a little alone time or you some alone time or the two of you some time to be
You're welcome! I thought it had some good healthy thoughts and ideas.
Its great!!!!
how did you know dh is getting on my nerves! LOL
No, I wouldn't do camping either unless it was in a lovely mountain cabin at a nice resort..lol! Camping's good for those who love it, it's just not my thing.
Great article...reinforces what we had all talked about.....but there will be no camping for me....LOL
I printed this off and read it before going to sleep last night.
You're welcome, glad you liked it!! I agree, I don't like going away without my DH either as I kinda like mine too..LOL!!
It sounds like you have a good balance of "me" time. I'm going to go in and take a nap now and when I wake up, I'll stay there and read for awhile.
Been meaning to tell you that J & I watched
