just want to get an idea from you gals out there that are on your feet at work what you wear.the floors at work are very hard conrete.we do have cushy mats to stand on at the registers. hmm...do they make shoes in that stuff?  LOL

my feet are good most the day but boy ~oh ~boy with 2 hours to go they let me know they are tired!

Pat I put an answer in your other post yesterday talking about Saucony shoes - they are the best running shoes I've ever had - and I don't run.

Hi Pat....ohhhh...I know how your piggies feel !When I was a cashier...standing in 1 spot ..more or less...my dogs would be barking !! lol

I bought a pair of Easy Spirit...kinda pricey too...they were & still are the more comfy, cushy sneakers (actually walking shoes)....they kinda look "ole lady like" but, really comfy !

I have 2 pairs of Skechers (I had to look at my foot to read how to spell it) lol ... they are comfy...but, not as comfy as Easy Spirit !

Do you have any outlet type stores near you...if so...they are cheaper in that type of store !

Good luck...let us know how you make out !

Oh another thing....ever use those gel inner sole inserts....they help alot too .....give new life to an older pair of sneaks !

I know a lot about painful feet! I've had extensive reconstruction surgery on both feet..many years of standing as a hairdresser on concrete! Here's a few things I've learned...

You need shock support cushioning inside the shoes. Most shoes don't have much, or any,

You should check out FootSmart. I've gotten several pairs of shoes and sandals from them and they're very nice shoes. I have a pair of Hush Puppies sandals that feel like they are made for my feet!
