Tonight I'm going to dinner with (yes sigh) MIL/FIL and BIL & wife. No other plans this weekend.

Career girl will be gone until tomorrow afternoon.

Tomorrow, I'm going to another stamping party in the afternoon. Sunday I'll probably be driving the son back to his apartment as he's coming home tonight to get the van for a road trip tomorrow.

Rest of the time will be spent planning out the party I'm having in May for hubby's 50th birthday.

LOL!! You're crackin' me up on the planting!! Yep, that's pretty much how it goes, he does the work, I supervise! I hope it goes well for if he's not getting it perfect and I lose my patience, I'll have to get down there and do it myself. Then the gettin' back up part is not a pretty sight!! LOL!! Still *very* windy here, so no plants for today. My ears almost hurt from the constant sounds of the whistling wind..hate that sound! I had to wear my ear plugs last night as I had a window open and the sounds were keeping me awake.

Sorry the dinner wasn't better than expected. Sometimes it's good to have low expectations I guess. ;-)

Glad you mentioned pantihose. I don't know if I even have any the right color for my black skirt. Will have to take a look. I don't mind them if they fit well.

does Matthew have 60 friends that had to be invited,, what ever happened to the simple kids birthday party with cake and ice cream... ?

I know....I know.....well, around 32 is just immediate family & thier kids on both sides....a crowd in itself ! The rest is DD & SIL cousins & thier kids & just a few close friends & thier kids !

Nothing is small & simple anymore....especially when there is large families involved !! lol !

Yeah, the rubber stamping is fun, but I'm more into being creative with the paper, ribbon, punches and other junk. Plus it is just fun to hang out with a bunch of other gals for a few hours.

As for Ali, he left this morning to pick up his friend, Ziling (guy was his room mate for three years and they are great friends). Doing the geeky guy thing of attending the LinuxFest for the day. He said he would be back tonight at about 7ish. As long as he's having fun.

As for hubby, I attached a picture of the invitation I made. I just need to fill them out and mail by Monday. I'm inviting four other couples, our two kids and possibly one or two of their friends. Basically it will be a cocktails/appetizers/snacks/cake sort of party for the BIG kids 21 and over. Career Girl and I should be able to pull this off without him noticing since he is coming home from China on the 4th and will probably still be living in the twilight zone, LOL!
