HI! Just shootin' from the hip here as I have no 55555's planned...   LOL

 1.  May 1st is a national holiday here,, is it a long weekend for you also?

2.  Has anyone grilled outside yet?  If you are in an apartment do you have a habachi and grill on the balcony?

3.  Are you planning any trips this summer, maybe dayor short weekend trips?

4.  On the Paris runways it seems that mens summer jackets matched with shorts instead of trousers is all the rage again... do you like the look?

5.  Did you ever wear "platform " shoes?  How old were you?  hahahahha

 have a great weekend!

Yep it is called May Day,,, international workers labor day.

May Day - the Real Labor Day

May 1st, International Workers' Day, commemorates the historic struggle of working people throughout the world, and is recognized in every country except the United States, Canada, and South Africa. This despite the fact that the holiday began in the 1880s in the United States, with the fight for an eight-hour work day.

Anyway, everything is closed here, so we are at home enjoying the garden, went for our yearly trip to McD's for a plain hamburger and salad and then a short walk.

No, that fad was slightly after my time. I was more into bell bottoms, tie-dye and peasant blouses and dresses.

I wore those in the early to mid 70's. also wore wedgys with them early on. Canada is always so far behind.
