my son jeremy got accepted into the AIR FORCE today !!!!!

yes...i have been keeping a secret from ALOT of people but we did not want to get too excited in case he got turned down....again.

he went to a recruiter last month & she ran his background/criminal check - only his probation report showed up. he had to write a letter explaining it. then he had his physical last week. he had to go today to see the MEPS orthpedic for a knee consult.  he got cleared !!! he finds out in the next couple weeks when he can leave :O)

his career choice is in aviaonics & will most likely stay in texas for tech school, too.

as soon as he gets his dates i can make plans to go to texas for basic graduation :O)

he said..."mom, now you can tell the world...i know you will!!!"

i am soooo happy..on cloud 9 for my son.

oh congratulations to jeremy!!!
it took my son john from the time he was 17 until he was 31 to get accepted into the military.
he wanted to be a marine, but it was not meant to be and they black balled him for seven years. then when he could apply again he was married and his wife would not leave her mother so he did not pursue it. finally it all worked our for him three years ago and he is in the army. they waived his hearing loss and he could not be happier.
good luck and i will be praying for you all.
