i liked the liver. The sardines on toast dad had every night was gross.
we too had the rice crispies or corn flakes, jello, and peanut butter.
dad never ate jello. he said it was a daily thing on the farm
LIVER!! Hmmm..seems I answered this same question somewhere else. ;-)
I was enemic and the doc told my parents to feed me liver once a week. That is the most awful tasting stuff ever no matter how you try to disguise it with onions or bacon or whatever. It's still liver!!
I also hated sliced
Same with me with the nasty liver!! After my blood count went up and I wasn't enemic anymore, Mom stopped making me eat that awful stuff!
I had pb&j almost every day for lunch too, but it was at my request and I was disappointed when Mom gave me somethng else. I loved peanut butter and cherry jelly sandwiches..so delicious!! I liked when she gave me egg salad too though, so that wasn't too bad.
My grandpa ate sardines and sometimes was eating them when we'd go over for a visit. He would give me some with a little mustard on bread and I actually loved that stuff. Don't gag Rusty..LOL!!
