We cancelled the trip today again. I don't need to tell you how really really disappointed we are. I'll be around but would really appreciate it if we could go with the last volunteer schedule that we worked on. Thanks. I'll reply to the coffee corner and celebrations tomarrow, right now I just want to go to bed. It's been a very very long day, tomarrow probably more of the same. Now you know why I took off my dancing beach blanket bingo siggie. This is a photo I took of the swan on the lake we visit in Munich. I needed something "serene".
Editing : Diva had to go off to the Vet today. She was just really stinky (yes, my little love ), they fixed her up so she's a "sweet little thing" again. (Anal glands were clogged,, poor thing)

Hi,
amazingly enough I had a good night's sleep.
{{suzan}} sorry you bil & sil are so selfish that you and dh cannot enjoy a vacation. what are they going to do when you leave for munich?
i hope fil is alright. has he seen his doctor and not just in ER ? sounds like something more is going on.
i hope you get some peace & quiet soon
Oh, Wow..what a mess! I very well remember the days of putting our lives on hold to take care of aging parents. It's stressful and hard, but it is an important part of our lives too and most of us have been or will be there.
Just continue finding your little pockets of joy in taking your strolls together through town, sitting at outdoor cafes, walking Coffee through the park, visit museums and art galleries, and know that one day you will be free to do more recreational traveling. Until then, part of your lives belong to others. You're setting a good example too for your son in what his responsibility will be one day when you and your husband age. Whoa..that's a scary thought..lol!
I hope this latest trip to the ER comes out okay.
We're on our way to my cousin's husband's funeral now. Sometimes life is not pleasant.
