Reality TV vs Marriage?

We've all heard about the relationship problems of the Gosslin's, but they're not the first reality tv couple to face marital issues. http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20282510,00.html

How big a role do you think the shows played in the problems or breakups of the different couples? Would you put your life out there for all to see?

There's no way for us to know how much the tv shows play a role in the marriage problems unless we're living that experience ourselves. I strongly

I can understand the lure of the money being attractive but I couldn't live under the microscope like that.

I've never watched Table for 12, but I do watch the Duggars from time to time. I agree; they seem to be one of the exceptions and I'm sure their faith has a lot to do with it. Plus, they all seem to realize that a strong marriage and a close knit family don't just happen... it takes commitment, hard work and patience. ;-)

{{Hugs}} The oil industry is taking a hit here, too. They're laying off and have an unofficial freeze on new hires, but for some crazy reason, the companies are still running job ads.
