Hihave a piece of cinnamon raisin toast!

It's raining here today.  I thought that would give me a break but think again.  There were ants in my kitchen (yes MY kitchen) .  So have been down on my hands and knees cleaning out all the cupboards and shelves and under the sink,, what a job,, this will take a couple days.  found the problem at least, but can't stand to think those little creatures have walked with their dirty tiny feet on something in my cupboard,,, threw in the laundry, hung some out, folded other from yesterday.  Organized my shelves in the basement,  and threw away all food past it's prime,, that was about 4 bags full too!  (piggy me).  made the beds, cleaned 2 bathrooms.  It's now 12:30 and I'm going to the orthopedist to get new orthonics for my shoes and hope to do a bit of shopping. If I ever get out of here.

Yesterday we did get the office all moved... just the 2 of us,, conquering the world!  Glad that is DONE!  We took a real close look and I washed all the main scrapes from the wall in the new place and decided NOT to paint it.  (phew) It looks nice, but the telephone company informed us it will take 3 weeks to get the phone service... what are they thinking??? It's a business for pity sake.

Also clipped and shaped more of the Boxwoods in the afternoon, oh there is sooo much to do here and my cleaning lady is NOWHERE to be heard from: go figure!

Anyway, I miss diva.

Hope you are all well and have a greatttt week!

What's new?????

Waving!

Been here and there lately...still running on my old name here. For some reason mrsjackfrost is not working right.

Sitting here waiting for the thunderstorms to hit. It is getting hot and muggy again.

Same old here. Housework and bills!! At least grant is getting a lot more hours as a driver..which pays $12 more an hour!! Shop was hard to live on. We were as low as $850 in two paychecks. We cleaned out the freezer...just some deer meat left and a sourhead cabbage too. sad! Got groceries on last monday...700+ but nothing special...we were out of everything!!

The sheds are both built...one painted. I touched up the paint on the big flowerbed(painted the top rails ), painted the roof and top edge of the wishingwell, and the buffet table top in the back yard. Grass was cut...grows so fast with the rain we have had...poor grass was getting really brown.

Things here are pretty quiet after the accident. The service will be family and private. Most wish there was more...some of us need closure. I think this was mainly because of grad being so soon.

I told you all that grant wrote his family...well his mom called and was not happy...well her tone said. It was a call me back grant when you get the message. He tried to call her back...but no one home yesterday. Now what?? Just leave us alone. Ok i was here when it rang...well outdoors..but heaqrd it and saw the name. grant was in bed...phone beside him...he didn't answer. It was 9:30 and grant had been in bed over an hour all ready. he has asked them not to call after 8 because 4 am comes early!

So tomorrow is thimas last school day...thursday the one exam he has to write. He still has not heard if he will get anything from his car. He joked that he could drive his rv to school LOL

My plants survived the frost...but found out some are not the same(a six pack) so i will have to move some arround here soon. someone must have changed the tags.

we took inthe pop bottles we had and there was just under $110

Morning Suzan!

That was about 30 bags of bottles and cans. Dh has his beer. Thomas loves pop and we buy bottled water. Yes we drink from the tap too. great water here. it is a sandpoint well in the basement. A full bath tub sometimes looks blue!...the water, that is.

The bottled water is just because grant , thomas and i like to just grab a bottle of water as we run out the door or are out in the yard. so that would be more than a year of bottles.
