What are you weekend plans Fri, Sat, Sun

Gee I don't have much planned , it should be raining.

Friday:  my kitchen in almost done and we pulled off the baseboards today and cleaned all under the cabinets and this afternoon I'll try to get the baseboards  wiped down.   We will leave those off for a couple days to see if we can figure out where the ants are coming in. There are no nests in this house  (phew).  Hoping when the time comes that my dh can figure out how to put the darned things back on (LOL) .    I needed to work on the LR  today as my dh has slowly been setting up his office in the LR, and it just looked like HELL-O so I moved some things around and hid the fax and  printer with cables, had to empty out and move the china cabinet to the other side of the door.  Luckily last time I was here I had emptied it out and washed all the crystal. Then decided to rearrange the LR furniture and clean  under the couches,, rolled up all the persian carpets and moved those around (gee those suckers are heavy!).  Moved the DR table around too,,, (combined LR/DR at my home).  All that took about 3.5 hrs.  It looks very clean and nice, and again found no ant problems in the LR (well one never knows). Then went outside to wash the 3 dumpsters and the house to the dumpsters and then the front gate, etc etc.    Yesterday we felled 2  8 foot holly trees (dh has to dig up the roots still and we have to decide what to  plant in there , they were doning the front stairs on each side,, so I'm thinking boxwoods or some sort of round ball shaped compact pine.   NOt sure what but I like the open look of it now so won't buy anything that will grow tall .  It will be fun looking for something though.    Well , I am tired so will try hard not to do anything else today.  We plan to go to the new (biggest in Germany ) media store this afternoon,  we're looking for a combo DVD player, radio, stereo type of thing, compact and easy to use, we saw one from Sony but want to look around a bit first.

Sat no clue and sunday father's day, ,well ds is not here but hoping he calls his dad (he DID forget to call me on mother's day and couldn't figure out why I was hurt duh)...  so hoping dh has better luck.  Maybe I'll take dh to our favorite brunch.  We'll see.

this turned into a book, so what does your weekend look like?

The dying in the washing machine turned out well..Whew!! The clothes that I dyed..black..yikes..are looking good. When they begin to fade again, I'll redye them. I had a bit of a clean up to do beyond what they suggested, but that's just me. I had to get every last trace of blackness out that was lurking in places where you can't readily see..you know how that goes..lol!

The party last night was fun as always, such a neat bunch of people. The home where it was held was lovely, very nicely decorated and they had a pond in back with a pretty fountain in it. Wish one of our ponds had a fountain too, but I'm very happy just to have two pretty ponds to look at every day. After eating, we watched the movie, "Fireproof", which was excellent. That movie should be required for all married couples to watch for everyone could get something positive out of it.....

Thank you on the good and safe trip wishes. We'll continue to keep up our walking while on the road..at stops..at the hotels..etc. We are both fully into walking and enjoy doing it.

And..thank you on the Happy Anniversary wish too! :-)

We stored the bed in the garage. There was enough room in there, and Tom keeps the garage so clean, it was fine there for the time being.

nope no email for the kids. if worse comes to worse i can call her mother but that's only in a dire emergency. have not heard from john yet will wait and see what he has to say. they seem to think it's valerie's ex just making sure they are getting the right info from the girls, who knows.
melissa and family will be over in the afternoon. we will call his dad and i'm sure randy will call. who know there might even be a call from kuwait.
