St John's wort: the magical summer solstice herb:
ST. JOHN'S WORT
In ancient times, the summer solstice was believed to be a magickal day. St. John's Wort was harvested on that day and used to ward off ghosts and evil spirits. It is also known as the "witches' herb" - witches used it to ward off the evil spirits, and Christians used it to ward off the witches!

Yes, it's used for mild depression..and..it doesn't hurt to ward off those witches either..LOL!! If they're the bad witches that is! ;-)
Speaking of witches, our tickets arrived in the mail yesterday for the live
well I used to use Remifemin for menopausal hot flashes and the only one that worked had to have St John's Wort in it...
I just ordered the book. My DD1 read it and loved it. It should be here by the time we get back from our trip. I will have finished A Thousand Splendid Suns by then and ready for something new. Hope we both like the book, will let you know and you let me know.
The show Wicked
No, haven't tried Passiflora Syrup Passion flower, never heard of it. I generally don't have trouble sleeping, but my brain wakes me up around 2am..4am..and 6-7am to potty. I don't have to potty that badly, it could wait, but nooooo..it has to wake me up and if I don't get up and get it done, I can't get back to sleep..Grrrrr!!! Not drinking anything evenings doesn't make a difference either.
I'll pass this information on to my DD1 though as she has problems with anxiety and stress. Thank you.
