Hi there

My weekend will be ruled by this "flu" that you all think I have...  at times I think I'm feeling a bit better so get up and wow, not a good idea!   So will have to play it by ear and see how I feel.  I know dh wants to "do something...."   he may have to do it by himself.

Anyway, there is this tree /garden firm working in the yard across the street and they have a dog with them that is well behaved... so I figured  they must be a good reputable firm.     (OK OK  I know their work doesn't depend on how well behaved the dog is... I do know that, really I do ) but I liked their name "INNA TREE" .  Anyway,  I mustered up some strength and went over to ask if they could look at my wild overgrown hedge (something that is on MY agenda for next week,, would have already been cut by MOI if it hadn't been raining all week but it is a HUGE job for me).  Then last weekend dh and I cut down the 2 8 foot holly trees and need to get the stump and roots taken out and all the debri carted off to the dump by them: so I got a price for all that work hmmmm  $400 which is a steal here, so called dh to report and he said "go for it"....    YEA!!!! (I really didn't want to cut the hedge all 40 meters 120 ' of it...  )    Later I'll go over and see when they can start.

Will continue reading my book:  Kristin Hannah: Firefly Lane... I'm REALLY enjoying it.  Hope to order a couple more of her books from Amazon.

So what are you all up to this weekend???

i took speed reading when i was in high school but that was 40 years ago. i can't read fast like i used to. if i like a book i gotta keep reading until i get it done. if that means staying up until midnight or after i will.
today though, i have not had a chance to read i have been too busy doing other things.

I hope you're feeling better soon, Suzan.

Plans for me? Some yard and housework. Hubby is gone, Career Girl has plans and so I'm going to enjoy the peace and tranquility.
