Whatcha all reading now??
I finished "A Thousand Splendid Suns" in Cincinnati. I loved that book, could hardly put it down, very interesting. It is about the life of two main women characters in Afghanistan and as you know, women are treated terribly there, so many bad things happened. It was especially bad when the Taliban took over the area for awhile..they are brutal horrible dangerous people. Even though many bad things happened, it was still a very good story. I kept wanting to know what was going to happen next and how it would all turn out. It has a good ending.
Someone here mentioned they were reading "Wicked" and I had actually just ordered it from Amazon. Whomever it was who is reading it, do you like it?
I had to get another book right away and my DD2 suggested I read "Twilight". I never have had an interest in reading a book about vampires and she said she didn't either, but she took a chance and bought it because it was so popular. She said she loved it so much that she devoured all of the series right away. So, I got it and..to my own surprise..I loved it so much I could hardly put it down and finished it in four days even though we were on vacation and very busy doing fun things. I bought the next one in the series and am loving it too. It has a lot of sexual tension, but it never gets graphic at all and it's so mysterious. I just can't wait to turn the page to see what is going to happen next. I highly recommend it. Hugs..I think you'd like it too!
So, what are you all reading now? Anyone reading anything different from the genre you normally lean towards?

I'll let donna answer her part
Answering my part before reading Suzan's part..don't want to be influenced..LOL!!
I have to wonder if anyone who reads 4 books a week does anything else too! Or..I would just think that they read much faster than I do!
I used to have 2 or 3 books going at once. They were in different parts of my house and I picked up whichever one was close at the time. One was my main book though and the others were more informational or light, not novels. I don't do that anymore though as my book travels with me around the house on my walker now.
Sorry we gave you a headache; hope it's gone by now. I have one too..way too much stress trying to log in online to pay a bill where they updated their security and I couldn't log in. Had to call on the phone and get all the animated PITA stuff pushing this and that button..Ackkkk..and finally got the help I needed. Then their website was acting up and I had to do it over and over again before it would go through. And now..J & I have to go grocery shopping..now *that's* a headache!! LOL!!
