I just went out and dug up three daylily clumps and replanted them somewhere else, and I'm beat!  Granted, the ground was dry and hard, but, still, I thought I could manage that without exhausting myself!

How will I ever manage to dig out the hostas I want to move?  I wish it would rain so the ground would be softer!

LOL, a book is a good idea! And I wouldn't thin anything, if the big hosta wasn't hiding a small, prettier one. And the daylilies I thinned, just to have some to put in the other garden.

Thank you for liking how I write. I like to write, LOL! The garden looks pretty good. The pretty striped hosta is in front now and doing well, and the big, solid green hosta is making a nice background for the more colorful and striped ones.

I'm not sure how dd's hosta did - she had to kind of bend the leaves way down to get her trunk closed, but even if it looked bad, I told her it would probably perk up and, if it didn't look good this year,
