Ok all over the world people cook in different ways. some i would love to try, and others...eak!! so here are my questions!
1. Do you consider yourself a good cook? What about your MIL??
2. What is your specialty(s) you love to make for family and friends?
3. What do you absolutely make a mess of or hate to cook?
4. What is something that is a specialty(s) in your area or culture? Have you made it?
5. What do get offered to you by friends or relative(others) that turns you right off? Why?
6. Is there something you make that is costly or hard to get. how often do you make it?
7. The weirdest thing you have ever tried or refused to try?
Bonus: When you make special meals...inside or out/ holiday/ordinary day...ect, do you get dressed up? Put out the good dishes/cutlery/outside dishes..ect? Decorate the house for it inside or out(holidays special occasions ie:Christmas, Birthdays, 4th of July ect) ?

morning pat!
it is always good the be able to cook for yourself, esp good stuff.
Ya it is hard to cook for just yourself. I still cook too much and we have leftovers too.
ok what is your fav clam chowder new england or manhattan??
sourkraut is yummy(well to me). you could never be Canadian without mayo LOL esp miracle whip in my home LOL
Yes cheese is so expensive. used to be a big marble chees pkg was 6.99 now here we can pay 12.99. you have to have cheese, or it is not lasagna. Then add in ground beef, your tomato concocksion and noodles...cheaper to eat out. It will never be as good as homemade.
those are gross sandwiches. thomas eats peanutbutter, jam and cheese sandwiches LOL
ok susan that settles it. i am staying here. Have to have my beef! never had lamb but heard it can be tough.
I could get into the fresh veggies there though. here it is
