HI Sandboxers!

I'll start this off.  If you don't feel like reading my novel, then skip to the chase and scroll to the red at the bottom.  ;O)

I'm going to the internist today ,  see if he has any idea why I am perpetually fatigued and other symptoms.  Ds is coming to as he wants to know about some body building "crap" he takes to burn fat faster,, whether it is safe or not,, hoping the dr tells him NOT to take it.

Anyway,  coffee is here. I gave her a bath yesterday, that was neat, she's so pretty now,, all goldeny red and shiny and pretty smelling.   Oh I HAVE to tell you all.  She has a friend, and maybe 2 friends.  The first is a really pretty, calm and well trained border collie from across the street where we walk in the park. They've been sniffing for a couple days and this time played ball and ran around, the border collie lets Coffee jump all over him, I guess she understands that Coffee is still young and playful.  As the owner said, there were  3 but the 2 oldest ones (15 yrs old) died during the winter so Cleo (who is 5or 6) is VERY lonely.   The owner was happy to meet Coffee being so playful and entertaining her collie.  It was so nice to see.  Her first interaction with another dog. There  is another cocker spaniel (male)) who is living upstairs in our building,, well they played yesterday too,,, so things are looking up.   Let's see, Coffee runs off leash now and comes when we call , unless like yesterday she sees a cat .  She took off so fast after the kitty but unfortunately jumped thru a huge rose bush. (duh) Of course she got caught, flipped over on her back and was laying there : I was scared. So dh and I had to try to get her out without cutting her,, very hard as they squirm so when they are in trouble or hurt.  This was an old established rose bush the branches very thick and the prickers like an inch long.. anyway got her out,, she was scared..  but fine.  My hand doesn't look so well : all scratched, but better me than coffee 's tender little belly.   Enough about coffee.

so how are you all, what's up,  am hoping Rusty and Diane and LURKERS come out and play in the Sand Box this week.     Don't forget to vote for little cute GAGE, he did pretty well last week.  Believe you have to register to vote now , it's not hard. We're having a interesting plant and animal scrabble going on in games, if you feel like playing.

Oh, my gosh, COFFEE!!! I'm imagining what it would feel like if one of us rammed head on into a big rose bush..OUCH!!!! I'm assuming you checked her eyes, nose, ears well to see if she got stuck there. I hope she learned from this and never ever does something like that again! Those darned cats are so irrestible though..lol!!

That's so nice that Coffee and the other doggies are getting acquainted. It's good for them to learn how to interact with other dogs..and some good butts to sniff..LOL!! Maybe you all can get play dates set up for them to play often. Cute!

Let us know what you find out at the internist. Hope it's an easy fix.

Today we're just messing around at home, doing laundry, empty dishwasher, tidying up, and stuff like that. Tonight I'm picking up my oldest DGD at 5 and taking her out to dinner and whatever else we think of.

Tuesday...doc appt. for J...DSonIL's bday party that evening.

Wednesday...we may go to the other side of town to the best breakfast place in town and then pick up a book from Borders as our Borders over here doesn't have it in stock right now.

Thursday...I'll be going to Christian Women's Club dinner that evening. Normally, it's a brunch, but this time they opened up an adjacent room to allow more women to come. The guest speaker is Gracia Burnham, the missionary who while working there, along with her husband Martin, were kidnapped by terrorists while in the Philippians and held hostage in the jungle
