An act of good will may have cost someone a little more than expected! Thankfully, the owners of Soles4Souls are searching for the unknown donor and maybe, with the power of the internet, that individual will soon be reunited with her ring.

Have you ever given up on finding a misplaced item, only to discover it ages later, in a really odd spot?

I hope they find the owner of the ring. I wonder how it got in a shoe?

Hopefully they will find the owner of this ring. Last summer I was in Boston for my nephew's wedding and we stood at this beautiful hotel, and after the wedding we went back into our room and on the table in this little bowl was something shiny and so I picked it up and wow!!! it was my diamond earring and I didn't even know that I had lost it. I looked in the mirror and saw that one of my earrings was missing. I couldn't believe it. I went downstairs to speak with the manager of this hotel to tell him how impressed I was that the girl who was cleaning my room would of put it on the table, as she could of taken it and ponded it and made good money from it. He was so thankful that I told him and wanted to know which room we were in so that he would know which girl it was and he would award her for it. I asked for him to send her to my room as I wanted to thank her myself which i did and did give her a little something for being so honest. The earrings mean alot to me as this was my first gift from my husband, so it didn't matter that it was a diamond, or glass or whatever, it was because it is a sentimental item to me. By the way she found it in the bathtub while cleaning.

So nice to know that there are honest people around.
