Always something new: Dental floss

On the plane home I was reading an article about simple things to make you healthier.   So I got to the part about teeth: go to the dentist every 6 months and then the zinger:   don't floss your teeth so much.. just a couple times a week if that. I thought research  had found that flossing was good for your dental health by removing all the yuckies that if left there where your toothbrosh doesn't reach will create all sorts of problems.   Now they feel that too much flossing while good for the teeth  is harmful to the gums.  Well being a flosser myself, I'm in a dilema,,, to floss or not to floss: that is the question LOL.       Comments?

I think i would still floss. My teeth are close together in the front. Lots gets caught in them.

Besides i think as long as you are gentle near the gums it would be all right. Just don't saw or pick at thye gums. That would be my take on it!

Now my question...waxed/unwaxed or flavored??

I like the waxed. Gets between the teeth and out again better!

well I take that as you are doing a marvelous job with your electric toothbrush,, certainly at the regular checkups you would have been told that you weren't if that were the case..
