Our day at the beauty salon

Miss Coffee is totally KO'd. We arrived at the vet (the groomer is there) and since that's where I also buy her food and some toys she was really excited about going in and bounded in like she saw a pile of beef steaks. Then the groomer came out and took hold of her leash, she put those little legs out straight in front of her and would not budge. Talk about putting on the brakes. Got her into the booth and we were discussing what was to be done (she's up on the table) he turned on the shaver to do the legs and to show the length and she really really hates the sound of that shaver. So then as if all was going really well to begin with this cabinet flew off the wall and crashed to the floor. Yikes,, scared me, she was petrified. Her little snout started curling up to show who is boss . Anyway, I went out and took off shopping,, but I was upset a bit because I didn't like leaving her there when she was so antsy and scared. Like leading the sheep to slaughter. (I know , I know, I just need more practice). I did my shopping in record time and got back and she was all ready and fluffy and pretty. Her ear check up showed some debris sitting on the ear drum which is because of that dumb burr that got caught in there. They won't do anything about it as they would have to put her out and even at that it's a delicate proceedure,,, they feel it will eventually work its way out. Anyway, that is why she won't let me touch her ear anymore. So forget the brushing. The vet siad, she most likely will not ever forget having that painful burr in her ear and relates touching the ear to that experience. OK will have to live with that . So she was real happy to see me and we ready to leave when someone brought in a HUGE Kangal dog... well the dog came up to my boobs, it had a head the size of a super inflated basketball and here is diva feeling like a chihauwau (spelling) next to that dog. That dog was in sad sad shape, but getting better said the vet. Anyway, that really scared her and she hid behind my legs. So I got her home and she crawled into her tent bed and has been sleeping ever since, now 3.5 hours, every once in awhile she growls (in her sleep).... weird. So much for a nice day at the beauty salon. I have a sneaky suspicion she will never ever go near it again. She's gonna be one mangy doggie.

LMBO!!!! Oh, my gosh, what a day you and Coffee girl had!!! You're gonna have a real fun time getting her to the "beauty salon" again!! LOL!!
I googled Kangal dog, what a HUGE dog!! Poor Coffee!!
I don't like that "debris" next to her ear drum. Sounds so uncomfortable! Poor baby girl!
I can understand her sleeping the day away now from emotional exhaustion! Hope she's her happy little self when she wakes up! Hope the rest of your day is calm now too!
Oh what an awful day for Coffee and you.
