Okay. . .

Hubby took today off without telling me beforehand. Had he mentioned it, I wouldn't have tried to get him up for work at the crack of dawn.

I went to my eye dr. appointment, did some shopping for my card party tomorrow and have been doing laundry and other miscellaneous stuff.

Tomorrow, card party in the early afternoon and then Career Girl and I are heading to a friend's house for a jewelry party. Not that I'm into jewelry, but this is more of a courtesy visit and maybe I'll buy something to give to Career Girl later.

Sunday, I need to bake some mini loaves of banana, chocolate chip and maybe pumpkin/cranberry bread for Career Girl to take to work for the United Way bake sale. Rest of the day I plan on being brain dead.

I'll be spending most of my time looking after my aunt who is bedridden. My Df (fiance) is a policeman and working the night shift at the moment. He sleeps most of the day and so our time together is limited. Oh well, at least

After our great time yesterday, we've just been goofing off today. We did have my youngest DGD with us all day though as she is sick. Hope I don't catch it as she was on my lap most of the day with a 103.3 temp!!

Yesterday we went on our first bus trip together. We'd both been before, but not together. We went to a town about 1 1/2 hours from here to an Italian restaurant..delicious..and then to a restored art deco theater..*beautiful*..to see/hear the Glen Miller Orchestra. It was sooooo good!! Really fantastic!! We got home around midnight.

Tomorrow morning we'll go to my youngest DGS's flag football game..or..if DGD is still sick, we'll take care of her so my DD can go to the game as these are her kiddos. After the game, DH and I are going to the Harvest County Fair at our Cowtown living museum of life in the 1870's. We'll celebrate harvest with craftsmen, old time foods, Indian bread, mock gunfights in the street, dance hall girls, and lots more. Fun time! It's only supposed to get up to 67*f and sunny too..perfect!

Sunday is the usual Sunday school and church and our favorite Chinese restaurant afterwards.

Enjoy your rest time and I hope everyone has a really good weekend!

Thank you, DGD's fever broke last night and she's on the mend. However, now DGS, her DB, is sick too! He can't play his flag football game today that J & I were going to go to. I just hope I don't get sick too for you know I don't like to cancel anything and don't want to miss a thing! lol

Well, come on over to the USofA for a visit!! There are lots of fun and interesting things going on all over the country. I look for things to do and go to. I have websites that I
