1. Did you wear "hand-me-downs" when you were growing up? Only a little. I was the oldest of myself and two siblings, so I always got new things. There was a daughter of family friends who handed down a few things to me and they were pretty, I liked them, so it was fun getting things from her.
2. What was the last thing you watched on TV? About 20 minutes of The View this morning. I seldom have the tv on.
3. Do you know anyone who does not own a cellphone? Yes, my aunt who lives near Kansas City. She is very stubborn about anything new, except for clothes. Not only no cell phone, but my uncle (now deceased) finally bought a cordless telephone a few years ago.
1. Did you wear "hand-me-downs" when you were growing up? Yes, I am pretty sure I did. I have an older sister, so I would imagine I got things handed down.
Yep, you were lucky to only have an older brother. I have 3 older sisters so by the time some of the clothes got down to me, they weren't always in the best of shape. I learned to sew very young.
I use hand sanitizer whenever I leave a public place. My dd keeps one at work...she's a bank teller...dgc keep a bottle at school....so yes we all use it...
Funny about the umbrella's...but at least they are all nice and neat....LOL
The umbrella you've kept since your teens sound really neat. I can't remember the last time I saw an umbrella that didn't fold. They sure weren't as convenient to carry as the new ones are....
I haven't heard the lasted on that little boy. I know that if I was his mother, he would be "grounded" for a long time. While listening to the story yesterday, I kept thinking he was hiding somewhere. I just didn't believe he was in the balloon. Sure glad he wasn't....
Since I live in a part of CA that sees so little rain, I really don't think about umbrella's that much. The only
