Morning everyone! I just finished putting in my amazon order (books & an English Cocker Spaniel 2010 calendar for me and a language book: 501 conjugations of German verbs for ds's gf for XMAS: does that sound like a good present for her? ). So am headed downtown to the big department stores. It's cold here and I need a couple pairs of cordoroy pants and a black sweater and various other things. Have the day free, dh is off to dinner with his buddies tonight so I can just crash later in front of the laptop or TV (no need to make dinner LOL)
So what are you all doing? How 's the weather,, hate to ask,, any s.n.o.w?

Hello! Yesterday we stayed home except that I went shopping that evening for birthday gifts for my sis-in-law. We were going to go to the zoo, but they had a water main break out there and things were a mess!
Today I met my sis-in-law for lunch and had a great time celebrating her birthday at our favorite restaurant. Afterwards, I went over to her apartment as I'd not seen it yet. She got divorced last year and moved into an apartment. She's a talented decorator and it looks great!!
That does sound like a nice Christmas gift for the GF! I had a "wish list" at Amazon with a lot of selections on it. Suddenly it disappeared and a new one began when I added my next selection to the list. Oh, well, that's okay.
The weather is gorgeous here, just perfect! It's sunny with temps in the mid 70'sF with a light breeze. Hope it stays like this for awhile longer!
Oh a gc to Starbucks or any other cafe is a wonderful idea from your kids, it gets you out
