Had a lovely day here in Minnesota...It was in the 60's ....so got out in the yard and picked up leaves, and put our gardens to bed for the winter, and two trips to the yard recycle....It was a joy to be out!!  Today hope to do a little shopping .....I want a new set of sheets, and a stop at Barnes and Noble.....and then go to our Park Reserve and walk for a bit.....Got to enjoy these nice days! What are you doing today?

Hugs, Ruth

I usually don't buy books...I get them from the library....but this one is for a book club and I was #229 on the waiting list from the library...and only 4 copies of the book....about 15 more on order....but that won't help!!!

Hi Ruth...sounds like you had a really nice day.

All I've done today is a load of laundry, and played around on FB. My dgd was here for awhile and that was nice to have her spend time with me....just the two of us.

Our temps reached 66 and it's been pretty breezy. Really am loving these cooler days...

Sounds like a very nice day! Raking leaves is a nice exercise, except for the bending and picking them up to put into the bags! Ohhh..the aching back..LOL!! We did our yard work a week or two ago, but other people's leaves keep blowing into our flower beds in the front, not a lot, just enough to have to pick up. Book shop and walking in the park sounds so nice too!

We went out for breakfast and then spent the day at the zoo. Perfect weather today too! We really enjoyed our time at the zoo. At the orangutan exhibt, one of the big ones was towards the back of the glassed in exhibit. He swayed from side to side doing the beating on his chest thing and than ran full force towards us, jumped at the glass in front of us and banged on the glass! Little kids near us started to cry, we just laughed..so FUN!! I attached
