Good Morning Sand Boxers!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
I would like to take the time to say Happy Thanksgiving to you all, just in case you haven't time or energy to stop by during this busy week. If you are travelling , safe travels. If you are staying home with family, take it easy. ;O)
I would especially like to wish Amy success with her coming exams.
Pat, don't forget a camera as we expect a few photos of Jeremy in his uniform!
Have a great week everyone,, let's get the ball rolling here!

Happy Thanksgiving to you too Suzan dear, and to everyone else also!! Your celebtating Thanksgiving in Turkey makes me think of when my cousin's niece lived in Spain for a couple of years. She and her life partner invited a group of their friends over to help celebrate. The friends, about 8 of them, were all from different countries of the world and none were Americans except for the niece & partner. They found some turkey and a few things to pull together somewhat of a traditional Thanksgivng dinner. The guests all brought a dish from their native countries as well. It was a grand international feast!! What a great experience and how I envy them getting to do that!
The only things we have going on this week are John's Red Cross volunteer work that he's doing right now and then we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving Day at
Love Coffee's new "do", so cute!! She doesn't mind keeping her sweater on indoors? Shelby would not be happy with that, she doesn't like them on outdoors either even when it's cold out. I make her wear them then though.
Ughh..I can't stand unpacking..not crazy about packing either..and you have to do it so often! I know you have it down to a science though. You did have a busy weekend and fun things to do too..good!!
The turkey will be fine by Friday depending on how old it was when the market got it. You're lucky to get a 16lb one, that size is
They feed 40,000 people?!! Wow!! There was a heart warming story in our newspaper today about how a local church feeds 250 -300 people every year just before T Day. The people are almost all of their congregation and are all either of low income or homeless. This year the church ran into several problems at once that would keep them from doing the T Day dinner. A restaurant on the other side of town found out about this and told them that if they could get the people to their restaurant, they would feed all of them. They were able to get bussing help and brought 250 of them to the restaurant and what a blessed time it was! I love stuff like that!
Wishing you and your loved ones a Very Happy Thanksgiving! I so envy you getting to go to Florida too!! Lucky..Lucky..You!! Have a great time!!
The question is....did you get the shoes?!! LOL
I can feel your excitement, what a wonderful time you're going to have!! Congratulations to Jeremy!! Try to get to bed early tonight!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your son!!
