Full to the Brim Friday 5

I'll just drop a few here while my house is quiet.

1. Are you still full from yesterday's feast?

2. Do you have leftovers for dinner tonight or do you opt for something different and then have leftovers later in the weekend?

3. Are you feeling the festive spirit coursing through your veins now and on a decorating kick for the next holiday or holding off until December 1st?

4. If you were crazy enough to battle the hoards, did you get any bargains this today?

5. Be honest, do you really love these long weekends or do you wish it was Monday already?

1. Are you still full from yesterday's feast?

-> Yes and probably will be for a few days. I hate when my body doesn't digest food as quickly as it used to. Feeling like a blob this morning.

2. Do you have leftovers for dinner tonight or do you opt for something different and then have leftovers later in the weekend?

-> I have plenty of leftovers and yes, I probably will serve them to the family and guest today. If not, I'll send them home. Only other option is that the family eat the *leftovers* which was a fresh cooked meal I made on Wednesday that they didn't eat.

3. Are you feeling the festive spirit coursing through your veins now and on a decorating kick for the next holiday or holding off until December 1st?

-> No. I went for a walk last night and saw several neighbors went on the decorating rampage before sundown in our neighborhood. Son and girlfriend are planning on trading in their old Xmas lights for $3 coupons to buy the new LEDs and I'm sure the husband will decide to drag out the tree despite my desires to leave it in the garage.

4. If you were crazy enough to battle the hoards, did you get any bargains this today?

-> Nope and nope.

5. Be honest, do you really love these long weekends or do you wish it was Monday already?

-> To be perfectly honest, no. I am really burned out right now. Daughter has had two four day weekends in a row. Hubby is home and driving my crazy with his 'as soon as the wife cleans/picks up, I must mess up.' and son and girlfriend are really driving me crazy with a pet peeve of mine of leaving used glassware/plates out in lieu of putting the dishwasher, sink or washing them. Wait, add hubby to the list of that one too.

1. Are you still full from yesterday's feast? - Well, yes, but that's because it's evening and I just had a plate of leftovers.

2. Do you have leftovers for dinner tonight or do you opt for something different and then have leftovers later in the weekend? - We had them for dinner tonight. I've still got plenty to make something of later.

3. Are you feeling the festive spirit coursing through your veins now and on a decorating kick for the next holiday or holding off until December 1st? - We'll probably hold off till the first weekend of December.

4. If you were crazy enough to battle the hoards, did you get any bargains this today? - We went out, but later - about noon - and there were no crowds. We looked at dishwashers, but saw no big bargains and just got some ideas for what we might want to get.

5. Be honest, do you really love these long weekends or do you wish it was Monday already? - Well.... Maybe not Monday, but I do kind of wish it were Saturday or Sunday.

1. Are you still full from yesterday's feast? Kinda of.

2. Do you have leftovers for dinner tonight or do you opt for something different and then have leftovers later in the weekend? Leftovers tonight!

3. Are you feeling the festive spirit coursing through your veins now and on a decorating kick for the next holiday or holding off until December 1st? Not really, but I don't care too much for the holidays considering I don't celebrate, however I love the sales!!!!

4. If you were crazy enough to battle the hoards, did you get any bargains this today? My mom did, but I didn't have enough, so I'm going next weekend when I do!!!

5. Be honest, do you really love these long weekends or do you wish it was Monday already? Not that I'm not in school any more, it doesn't really matter any more. As long as the banks are open I'm good! :

Maybe your lower oven element is burned out. If you have a window in your oven door, it's easy to tell if the heating elements are on, if you see them glowing red, they're working. If not, then you need to get a new one.

hmm don't really understand,, my oven is brand new,, but you can't see the heating elements even if I open the door,, the bottom is just a metal plate from side to side front to back...
