Full to the Brim Friday 5

I'll just drop a few here while my house is quiet.

1. Are you still full from yesterday's feast?

2. Do you have leftovers for dinner tonight or do you opt for something different and then have leftovers later in the weekend?

3. Are you feeling the festive spirit coursing through your veins now and on a decorating kick for the next holiday or holding off until December 1st?

4. If you were crazy enough to battle the hoards, did you get any bargains this today?

5. Be honest, do you really love these long weekends or do you wish it was Monday already?

Sounds like you may have found the problem with your oven. Even new ones can stop operating correctly. Maybe you can cook something on the bottom rung and see what happens. Whatever it is, I hope it's an easy fast fix and not costly!

I think we'll probably put our tree up the first weekend in December too. I dread it!! My DGD helps though and that's nice.

We finished our left overs last night except for that last piece of apple pie in there that's calling my name. ;)

Oh, lucky you having your Christmas tree up already!! I thought I'd get mine up yesterday with my DGD's help, but I was way too tired and needed the day off..or almost off! Hopefully, next Saturday we'll get it up. I wonder if Glenda has all her decorations out and up yet. She sure does put out a LOT of stuff!

Too bad your FIL caught your SisIL's flu/cold! That was

Turkey sandwich sounds good! We finished up our left overs last night. We went out for our usual Chinese buffet after church today and it sure was a nice change after turkey! I think tonight it will be canned soup and grilled cheese sandwiches!

Donna, I have a suggestion that might work for you.

Why don't you have an informal (wine & cheese & crackers) get together

I also warned SisIL , not to come visiting the parents when she is darn sick or with the flu.

Thank you for the idea and I know it would be fun; but no, no tree trimming party. Any party, no matter how informal, that I have, is exhausting!! I do as few parties as I can get by

Short visits and candy, sounds nice! You get to visit, are not expected to stay long and you get to eat candy. I like that idea!
