I finished PatCornwell's Scarpetta and started my XMAS story for this year.  Debbie MacComber (the first I've read of hers),, My Winter Bride.    I was surprised to find out that it was two stories instead of one book...  LOL  I liked them both though.   Have not chosen my next book yet.. but am thinking about the next in the Twilight Series.     We'll see.

So what are you reading?

Do you like to read a XMAS story during this season?

Are you giving any books as presents this year?

I'm still in a kind of slump with reading. I am thinking about starting my "The Shack" that's been on my shelf for a few months now. I've been up and down about reading it, but two people that I trust the judgement of said it's really good and that I should read it. My best girlfriend said she almost didn't finish it about half way through, but then it really picked up and she liked it a lot. It's "different".

I've never thought of reading a Christmas book. I do like Christmas movies though.

Reader's Digest has always had such nice stories. In high school, I used to read every one, crossing them off on the back cover as I finished them. I used to save some of them too and used some of their ideas..not word for word plagerism..to add to some of my compositions in English class. I loved writing compositions, reports, term papers and such.

These new ones that you'll be reading sound really nice too. Hope you can find time to sit and enjoy them!
