Monday Morning Buzz (lurkers welcome)

Last weekend before XMAS, amazing how fast the time goes,, am remembering when we were all complaining about hot weather. LOL  (lucky Fran with her "warmer weather")

If there are any lurkers,
please say hi and tell us what you are doing this week.

Before I forget,
I won't be doing the 5's on Friday for obvious reasons.
I wish all of you that are celebrating, a very Merry Christmas!

This morning the dentist did a panorama xray of my teeth,, that was neat! So quickly done.   He did all the prep work for the replacement crown that broke , on Wednesday he'll put in the real thing, look for any other problems and then clean my teeth.  YAY, what a nice present to myself.    Wednesday my ds has to go to have his liver ultra sound,  making sure that none of those amoebas from the dysentery hatched in there...  hoping that goes well for him.    Thursday will try to take Sally to ds's apartment for a good holiday cleaning. I guess we'll celebrate XMAS on Friday evening, not sure yet.   Saturday packing and Sunday we travel to Munich where the weather is much colder and there is some snow.   That's it for me.

What about all of you?

Morning, just dropping by for few minutes before I head out the door to pick up a few things.

I hope all goes well with your son's X-ray. That has to be extremely worrisome. Hugs to you and your family and if I don't *see* you here over the next few days, have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

For this week:

Picking up fixings for Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner.

Picking up Career Girl tomorrow night from her friend's house. Their flight from Las Vegas comes in at 9 and the dad is picking up the family and my kid. She has to go to work on Wednesday and half a day on Christmas Eve.

Son is suppose to come home on Christmas Eve. Not sure how long he is staying, but venturing he'll probably want to return home either Friday night or Saturday morning.

Rest of the week I'm doing the prep work for our trip to Las Vegas. We're leaving on Sunday and will be back New Year's Eve.

Good you'll be getting the dentist thing done and out of the way! Sitting, or lying back, in the dental examining chair is very uncomfortable for me. That adds to the stress. Not one of my favorite things to do!

Hope your son's liver reports come out well for him!

I'm heading out in a few minutes to mail a package and hope it arrives by Christmas Eve, and do more shopping. I so hope I can finish my shopping today, but if I am able to acomplish that, it wouldn't be me..not me at all..LOL!

Today..Monday....Shop..meet two of DH's sisters & DBIL's for dinner at a cute little restaurant. We'll also have an ornament exchange. Should be fun!

Tuesday....finish any shopping that didn't get done today. Wrap gifts.

Wednesday....bake or cook something for Christmas Eve Dinner.

Thursday....Christmas Eve Swedish Dinner at my DD2's inlaw's home. They do this every year and it's very nice. Then we'll all depart to go to our respective churches for Traditional Christmas Eve Candlelight Services.

Friday....Christmas at DD2's house. Yay..it's not at our house!! We haven't talked about our menu yet, so I don't know what I'm bringing.

Saturday....Christmas at DH's DD's house.

Sunday....the usual Sunday school and church and out for Chinese dinner afterwards.

They're predicting a blizzard will be blowing in Christmas Eve. Hopefully, we'll only get the outer edge of it and it won't be too bad. So, we may have a white Christmas. Wish I could send some of it out to Fran! ;)

Have a wonderful happy low stress week everyone! To those celebrating, enjoy it fully. To those not celebrating, have a relaxing week! Stay well everyone, wash those hands often!!

Suzan, I'd much rather be getting some snow right now;-)

Keep forgetting it's Monday. Not having the kids throws me off. ..I haven't done much all day. Laundry, baked some cookies and looked for some school pictures my ds wants.
