Have you made New Year's Eve plans?

Just wondering......   never to early to plan that!

Dh called the Marriot Munich last night and booked us 2 seats for the New Year's Eve buffet.  We went  to their Tday buffet last year and it was wonderful so am looking forward to it.  The main ballroom is open upstairs for dancing and we'll do that later on in the night, but for dinner we wanted to be in the restaurant near the buffet table (there will be a small band there too but lighter music).....  I'm excited about it.  Munich city stages huge firewroks displays at midnight and they ope the roof cafe so it can be viewed from there.  (If we old fogies stay that long LOL)

so do you have any plans or planning a cozy evening at home?

Maybe they put him in a tight spot and he felt compelled to invite them?

Your NYE sounds like fun :)

We are going to a friend's house with the kids. We won't be up until midnight, but we'll have dinner and the kids can play with each other and then we'll do an early "happy new year" celebration :) It should be fun!

I would not have had a problem saying that either, but I can be pretty bold when needed. My husband, on the other hand, would have been calling them back and uninviting them at my insistance if it were us! J's not bold..he needs me..LOL!! Enjoy your new ~~bling~~ and I hope it's still a nice evening for you.

Don't take any chances, state very strongly what you're planning for Christmas.

We talked it over and both decided we'd rather stay home than go to the party that we're invited to. J would like to go out to dinner..he always wants to go out to dinner..LOL..but the restaurants are way too crowded on that night, even if we went early. I think we'll order pizza, share a bottle of wine, watch a movie and call it good! If my DD2 wants us to come over to their house though, we'll go there and that would be fun.

I decided that since I can't change the NYE then the best is to enjoy it.
