The Day After...How ya holding up?

Groannnn..I am *exhausted*!!! I can't keep my eyes all the way open..not kidding!!

It was a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and I just want to stay in my recliner all day long today...but...we'll be going over to my husband's daughter's house later for Christmas with J's family. I'll take a nap and it will be another fun time.

DH's middle grandson will be playing electric keyboard for us while we're there. He's such a sweet gentle young man and I'm so looking forward to hearing him play. He'll play something upbeat and also something classical..beautifully done! Of course there will be lots of food and gift exchange and visiting too.

So, how about the rest of you? Are you as exhausted as I am? Is your Christmas finished or still going on? Do tell..inquiring minds want to know..LOL!

I'm doing just fine. We had our dinner and gift exchange at DD's Christmas Eve.

I'm okay, just a bit harried right now.

Took the tree down and put it and the ornaments away despite hubby grumbling.

Drove the boy and his girlfriend back to Seattle after a two day visit and got home about 20 minutes ago.

I have load #2 of laundry going, one more bed to strip and will have everything laid out for hubby to pack for our trip.

Think I'll be crashing by 9 as we have to be up and out of here by 3:30 AM tomorrow.

Yep, I'm ready for 2010.

I'm doing pretty good. We had a rather relaxing x-mas day! My in-laws were here for brunch, and then we went to our neighbor's open house in the evening. We had about 10-12 kids here in the afternoon sledding...it was so much fun to watch them having so much fun :) This is probably my favorite x-mas so far! Ethan was so cute on x-mas morning as he ran down stairs and stood in front of his stocking yelling, "Santa came! Santa came!" as he jumped up and down :)

I had an easy Christmas celebration, so I held up pretty well, lol. We took the tree down this afternoon and restored the house to normal, and I'm glad to have that done. We still have to get it up into the attic, but that we can do anytime this week.

Your tree is down already, lucky you! I wish mine was down and my house was put back together and I normally don't want it down until after New Years!

Thank you, we did have a fun time last night with J's family.

I'm sure glad it's over with though, these holidays are way too much work at this time in our aging lives!!

Awww..so fun when the kiddos still believe in Santa!
My two youngest grands still believe. We'll have maybe one more year and then Santa will just be wishful thinking. :(

Oh, how I wish my tree and stuff was all down and put away too!

We'll have to get my DGD to come over and help take down the ornaments.

I'm so exhausted today that I can't even think about it!
