Note:  the SB fitness threads are NOT about losing weight. (they can be included but are not centered around weight loss).  They are about making yourself feel better, be that weight loss or gaining weight , posture, drinking water, getting more sleep, cutting back on things that are emotionally not good for you, diet changes, menopause, PMS,,, you name it.....  all about your emotional and physical fitness.  We can do this! We will need to help and assist each other, reminding each other and asking each other how we are doing with our goals.   ;O)

The first of our SB Fitness threads: I CAN do it!

1.  Name a few things that you know you can do this year to help yourself get fit or feel better about yourself . (I'm not talking a "6pack gut",, just a couple things that realistically you feel would be good for you and you really will do. )

2.  This week :   study your eating habits and figure out one way to add or eliminate something from or to your diet that will make you feel better . (that isn't meaning necessarily that you will lost any weight from it, but it will make you feel better.

Are "sandboxers" a new type of undes for men?

Suzan, I am so grateful this thread will not be concentrating solely on weight loss. I like what you two have said about feeling good and/or better because of things like posture. Posture can make one feel better and look better, too. That is one thing I definitely will be concentrating on.....

Another easy exercise is just plain walking. Walking a distance that really contributes to well being. A quick walk around a couple of blocks may not be the way to feeling better. Make that walk count! That's what I am going to do.

I also have a treadmill that's been calling my name

I certainly hear about the snacks. I find myself doing the same thing. Sometimes they are healthy snacks, but often, they aren't. I mean, healthy snacks are boring LOL. Isn't that why so many of us snack with the wrong foods? :D
