SB Fitness: I CAN do it!

Note:  the SB fitness threads are NOT about losing weight. (they can be included but are not centered around weight loss).  They are about making yourself feel better, be that weight loss or gaining weight , posture, drinking water, getting more sleep, cutting back on things that are emotionally not good for you, diet changes, menopause, PMS,,, you name it.....  all about your emotional and physical fitness.  We can do this! We will need to help and assist each other, reminding each other and asking each other how we are doing with our goals.   ;O)   


The first of our SB Fitness threads: I CAN do it!


1.  Name a few things that you know you can do this year to help yourself get fit or feel better about yourself . (I'm not talking a "6pack gut",, just a couple things that realistically you feel would be good for you and you really will do. )


2.  This week :   study your eating habits and figure out one way to add or eliminate something from or to your diet that will make you feel better . (that isn't meaning necessarily that you will lost any weight from it, but it will make you feel better.

Last year I started a Felt and Sequin Christmas sock for dgd....I didn't get it done....sooooo I PROMISED it would be done by her birthday....(March)...so Have to plug away at it....Not hard...just time consuming....


Oh and it is so nice to have my desk cleaned off...used the shredder and trash can...lol...Hugs, Ruth

T.O.P.S. went very well!! It's a good group, there are four round tables of six, more if you squeeze in. The leader is lively and inspiring. They don't have any new contests set up yet. I'm working hard to get lots of applause next week with my BIG loss! :))


As I said before, I met two of my husband's sisters there as well as his xwife and daughter. Fun being with them, so that makes going there even better. Afterwards, we went to IHOP for late dinner. All of them ordered and ate every bite of pancakes with syrup, eggs and sausage!!! They said they only do it once a week and diet the rest of the week. All of them needs to lose weight!! Yikes!! I was a good girl, ordered baked fish, oven roasted potato wedges, plain broccoli and drank water. Tasted really good too!


My walking today was around our HUGE grocery store!

Hi Kevssis, glad you popped in!! In the warmer months, my husband and I walk after dark with no fear. It's light when we start out and turns dark about half way through our walk. We walk around our neighborhood where it's a friendly very low crime part of town and we've never felt unsafe. The total population of the whole town is 360,000.
