I do much less grocery shopping here in Munich,,, once a week with a run or 2 during the week to the small store up the street for bread or fruit.   Just curious how often you go grocery shopping,, how far away the store is... and anything else you feel like sharing..... etc.

I kinda like grocery shopping when dh isn't following me around which happens all the time now 'cause he is retired.

Often I get to the checkout and don't recognize a few things in the trolley!

well as you know we live at the end of the earth. you can see the cliff where it all ends from my front porch LOL

Very seldon do we shop here. Very expensive, three isles (very short isles) of store. Not a lot of items. Bread stale a lot of the time.

If there is a big coop sale we go there. in manitoba or north where my dr office was(he left the country).

I like to shop in brandon manitoba. it is almost 2.5 hours drive from here. Estevan sask is 1.5 hours away. Brandon is better because they have more stores and is bigger. Estevan has trouble getting staff in stores. the oilfield is so busy and few wives work. If they do it is a good job!

I like to shop every 2 week and grant picks up what we need in the week. he works in a bigger town with two grocery stores.

Did i mention some of the grocery stores are also the bakerys, the liquor board stores, and movie rental places. LOL.

i was going to ask if anyone had a big freezer. We hunt and buy in bulk. I alos buy canned goods, packages and jared stuff in bulk when on sale. I was very poor once and now stock up. feel more secure that way!

I think i would shop more if feeling better and in a bigger center. Good thing we are so far away from a lot of stuff!

We do the bulk of our grocery shopping the beginning of every month. Then during the rest of the month, we stop in maybe twice for bread, milk and anything else that we run out of or have forgotten.

That's about it!
