As U know I was supposed to be in turkey minding diva while ds is off on his ski trip. Since I could not be there as promised,,, diva is at the diva hotel playing with her friends. (We do not use the "k" word in this family). Feeling extremely guilty, I was getting all teary eyed all the time, so dh called long distance to talk to the vet. (the vet knows Coffee since she was born... and loves her ). Anyway, so the wife who is also a vet there answered, told us that C is doing wonderfully, playful, eating really well (under my ds's strict request that her food have a bit of warmed up distilled water in it to make it soft and that she should have a mid day snack). She is in the room next to the waiting room so when there are no "patients" they let her roam around the waiting room with their own dog and they play ball with them. She loves going in the garden with their helper, she has had no toilet problems since she was brought in. I had a nice tearless day today. Call me obsessive but.............. this comes as no surprise to you all I'm sure. Now I can settle down and rest up for my OP . Had to share. (())

Suzan, being obsessive about your pet is something I can completely understand. We are the same way with our pet. He is our "child" and the only one we have! I'd be worried constantly if we had to border him for any reason.
Dogs are funny though. It only takes a few hour (or less) and they feel pretty much at home no matter where they are. It's the joy when you pick him/her up that you really see how much you both missed each other.
Sounds like Coffee is in good hands. Enjoy yourselves and look forward to getting Coffee back home!
Oh my Suzan...what in world are you gonna do when u have grandchildren ???
Oh Nibs, well I won't see her until mid February if I am able to travel back by then. My ds should be picking her up on sunday evening.
