Ackkkk..GOT A VIRUS!!!!! WARNING!!!

Last night my computer was attacked by a nasty virus while I clicked on an update to Adobe 7!! It attached itself there and neither my two sophisticated virus protectors, nor my firewall stopped it!! Strange thing, too, is that my Adobe doesn't need updating and I knew that, but thought that maybe I was wrong about that. Should have checked first to see what version I have!

It's called AntiVirus Live! Do NOT update to Adobe Reader 7 until they rid this virus! They are working on it. It also is getting in through Facebook when a YouTube video is clicked on, I don't know which video. It will direct you to another page asking you to update to Adobe 7. If you need to update your Adobe for real, google first to see if they're still having the virus problem. If they are, keep checking back and wait until it's solved before you update!

The virus acts like it's a virus protector running a scan on your computer. It will just start running and several smaller windows will keep popping up asking you to agree to what they want to do. It looks very real!! We kept saying NO, but it kept on going! I had just installed a new additional virus protector a few days ago and couldn't remember what it was called, so just thought this was that one.

Thank goodness my smart husband understands techie language and knew how to get rid of the thing with the aid of an online help site that he went to on his computer..but..it took hours to get the job done! We've now run a deep scan..took all day while we were out running errands..so my computer is sparkly clean..until some other nasty thing finds a hole to jump through..Grrrr!!!!

Okay, finished venting now. I just really wanted to warn all of you about this AntiVirus Live!

Well my hubby and I got the H1N1 vaccination a while ago. Now my doctor was telling us that they came out with the shingles vaccination and it was more for our age group ( 60's) and it was private so we would have to pay for it. Know how much???? $200.00 a shot. I called my insurance but I have to get a dim number inorder for them to tell us if we are insured or not.

I had the shingles many years ago and I was laid up for a good 3 months. It is just awful. I will call again my dr and see if they got the vaccination in so that I could get the dim no. and find out. I really wouldn't want this again.

I rarely get sick, I never got the regular flu shot and thank god I never got any thing. It would be the very very odd year that I would come up with a cold but that would be it.
