Dh and I recently heard about vacuum coffee pots. He thinks it would be a good idea for use in the camper. We found some on ebay and one of them looks so cool, I said I want it for decoration, even if we never use it, lol.  But, it doesn't look like most vacuum coffee makers and the seller says there is no brand name on it, and apparently, no instructions.

So, I ask you - have you ever seen a pot like this, and if you have, do you know how it works? It looks like it has something to do with the valves, etc on the top part, but I just don't know.

But isn't it cool looking??

Ann

I have never seen or heard of anything like it until now. I don't think I'd get the one from Ebay because it's has no brand name or instructions. You should have both. I think I will "google" it to see what I can find.

Yeah, we didn't find much in a search either. For all I know, it's not even a vacuum coffee maker - we only have the seller's opinion on that.

Okay, after looking at other demos, I think it is a vacuum espresso maker with a milk steamer on the side!

Yes, I think you're right. The thing on the side is probably a milk frother/steamer.

Well, we won the auction! It went for as high a price as we wanted to go, but not bad for a cool coffee pot like that.
