this is just a blither on thread,,, so whatever is on your mind................... LOL
I have some news to share: Took ds to airport last night, he called us at 1am to say he got home OK. (phew)
While at the airport we checked out the costs of bringing diva here ($300) and other details. I feel better now. After the furbabe is registered to be on the plane, then it goes on the pilot's records , so that he knows there is something special on board and they turn on the heat pads. The pets are travelling in a special section in cargo, (with the heat pads on and climatized sp) and apart from luggage and other cargo of course. After one checks in they let you keep the pet to walk around the airport and stuff until 20 minutes before flight and then they take them to the plane and you board. (so they are not waiting somewhere around with the luggage or outside which was a huge worry of mine). I was very much relieved about this.
Here's the good part: For all the travelling that ds will be doing in the next months etc, it just isn't feasible for me to stay behind with diva each time and boarding is out of the question (so often). We didn't think this would happen until late May, but seems it all moved quicker than we thought. We already discussed that once diva is here then this is her home. She won't be flying back and forth.
So go ahead and blither on about whatever you want! ;O)

great news to hear hey take very good care of pets! on my flight to texas in ov there was a small dog in a pet cage that was in the cabin with us...so cute. too bad you hadto travel back & forth and could not stay in m for the week 3/22-29.
not much going on here. i am getting eady to leave for church then work after. UGH...the store is open an hour longer now.we went back to summer hours this weekend. i start my morning schedule in a couple weeks :o)
it is very windy
Sounds like a lot of new sights and smells for your diva Suzan. Does she travel well? Our furbabe loves to ride in the truck, he has the backseat all to himself. He is a good traveler that way. But we've never flown him anywhere. Doubt he would be happy about that. A friend who travels from here to Hawaii quite often takes her Yorkie in a carry-on bag. LOL, that wouldn't work for my 90 lb furbaby.
I am moving slow today. Sleepless night and now a head ache. And of course family coming today for dinner so no napping for me! But it'll be fun.
Happy Sunday everyone!

I like your "blither" Suzan because it's full of good news regarding Diva. I am so happy to hear this. What a relief and a lot easier on the dog. I wonder how noisy it is where pets are kept.
We've never had to board our dog, thankfully. He's 9 years old and it would scare him to be away from us. I know to people who don't have a pet they are attached to and bonded with, may think this so silly. But, I totally understand how you feel about Diva, Suzan :)
As me me, no blither today. It's early yet :)
Thanks to Pesky for tubing my dog
morning all
thomas is done work for the day. Aj is home, and grant may be home soon. we are talking about going to see a truck for sale. It is propane....but is easily switched back to gas if we want.
here the guys are talking about the oilfield rumors....like gas will be 150.00 a litre
Hi Pat,
Hi Cappy
Yes diva travels well in the car, she's been going back and forth to work with ds for teh past year. He also took her on vacation (a car ride of 12 hrs ) and she did fine.
Hope your headache clears up before your guests arrive.
well I'm not sure how noisy it is, but well, One of Lufthansa's perks is that they do transport animals, so they can 't take the chance that something would happen to them KWIM...
Interesting day we had yesterday..but first......
Am I understanding right that Munich will be Coffee's home..as in main home? Is your DS moving back to Munich then? Will you be staying in Munich more than Ankara then so Coffee doesn't have to travel back and forth?
WOW WOW WOW!
