Hi. i am just so frustrated and i seem to be taking it out on my 2 yr old son when the one i am really angry at is my husband. my worst fear is abusing my children and even just routine yelling at them upsets me and has me in tears. my husband and i are having serious problems and when something he does upsets me, he goes to sleep or leaves and i am left here with no way to let my anger and frustration out. the one that suffers is my little boy whom i love more than anything else in this world. being a victim of child abuse myself, i catch myself before i can do anything more than yell at him. just little things will set me off. i know this is not right and i can't seem to stop it. any and all advice critical or not will help. so far i have not been able to find a board that touches on any of these subjects. thanks, rosemary
There are several boards that could probably help you connect with others who may be feeling the same way you are or have been in your situation-
Communication Problems

Marriage

Parents Recovering from Childhood Abuse

Depression Support

Anger Management

and on the anger management topic, there are many, many articles about that. Put 'anger management' in ths search field at the bottom of any page, and you will get a LOT of results.
One board I am on now is about to start a bookclub and the first book we are reading is called "She's Gonna Blow". It's about anger management for mothers in specific. (I don't remember the author right now!) But there has already been many rave reviews about the first part of that book (people already reading it :)
