Also you might want to research UNIVERSAL DEFAULT. This is something that the creditors dont inform you about. Also be very careful with the Hardship PROGRAM that creditors offer, read the fine print, if you can understand it . I know, its tricky and frustrating

You might want to speak with a local Consumer Credit Counseling Agency and see if they can be of assistance.
