AT&T Universal card has me on hold right now. I'm trying to close the account, and Jen my tour guide won't stop asking me questions that are none of her business about my other accounts, and what I'm looking for long-term in a credit card. I've told her three times I'm not answering any more of her questions, and can she please get her supervisor to close the account for me. Phew! Mary, the supervisor I asked for, just came on the line and in ten seconds closed the account for me.

VICTORY IS MINE! HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way to go! I once tried to cancel an AOL account (hmm... have to do that again soon... my free period is about up) because of the phenominal amounts of pornographic spam I was getting (just a small detail) and they kept yapping, asking questions and when they offered me a free month I took it. Of course that didn't stop my spam problem.. so a month later I e-mailed them to tell them I want to cancel and I DON'T want them to call me to try to talk me out of it. They cancelled.:-)

I won't go into the spam I'm getting now... it's too off topic.

Anyway, congrats on standing strong!

Hip-hip Horraay!! Congratulations! I can't wait until I am at the point to make that phone call. I know each month we are getting closer.
