After a bad 2002 for our company a bonus check was NOT something I expected to see this year. But today it came. It was small.. because of the bad year and also I believe because I was only in management since September, so I didn't get the whole year's bonus. Anywho... it's a couple hundred bucks more than I had yesterday and money I never expected to see. It came at a good time because we're a little tight right now with Easter and the house payment due next week, but it would have been nice to be able to just throw it onto a credit card. Not to mention the attorney we just hired. We may have to sue our mechanic who we gave over $3000 to fix our boat and he has yet to order the parts. He's got a letter from our attorney coming in the mail giving him a time limit. I hope it gets him moving. I also hope it doesn't make things harder on us (such as him sabotaging the motor that he does get... or worse... claiming broke and we never see our money again.)
Anyway, the point is I got a little bonus! Woo hoo!
