Exciting Windfall (sort of) Today

So Bud and I were doing our "homework" of checking into ALL of our accounts and writing everything down for the financial advisor we're seeing. Well, it really seemed odd to us that we have SO MUCH money in escrow for our property taxes/homeowners insurance. Bud called the mortgage company, and sure enough, there's way too much money in there. SOOOO, we're getting a check from them for $5000, AND they've lowered our monthly payments by $350. It's like we rerinanced or something!

Now if only we can shape up our discretionary spending....
