GRRRR! Who is stupid enough... (long)
Thu, 05-01-2003 - 9:00am think that GAMBLING is a work at home possibility???? Sounds to me like that will get you in more trouble than it is worth! I subscribe to a "work at home opportunity" newsletter, and today I recieved this:

Can you use $6,865 by next Tuesday?

Would you like to get rid of your money problems

once and for all? If

winning $1,373.53 or more a day will help you,

then I have the perfect

solution for you.

"Power Blackjack" is a new, 100% fail-safe system

for beating any blackjack

game. It doesn't rely on card counting or on any

approach you have seen

before. It has been tested in both land-based

casinos and online casinos.

It has been played against single deck, four-deck

and monster eight-deck

The result? It wins so consistently that it has

been called "the most

reliable blackjack strategy ever created."

There is simply nothing else like it. Even using

$5 wagers as your base

bet, you can make at least $154 an hour playing

blackjack. And this is

while playing at a slow table with several other

players. At a faster table

with slightly higher bets, you can easily clear

$770 an hour! On the

Internet, you can easily win $500 an hour

relaxing at your computer

with a cocktail in your hand.

This is just part of the message, but I think you get the idea. Anyway, it's a good thing I'm not into gambling. Also, I know that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I'm seriously considering unsubscribing this newsletter - I don't need more junk messing up my mailbox or my life.

I can't believe what some people will do for money anymore. I have such a deep loathing for scammers and jerks who take advantage of people who don't have a lot of money to begin with.

That makes me sick! I'm an addictions therapist and gambling is a growing problem of terrible proportions. What is wrong with that newsletter for categorizing it as work? i agree with you completely!
