Credit card balance down to 1961.22. It's great to watch the digits get smaller and smaller.

Hip, Hip, Horraah! That is my next goal, under the $2k mark. *sigh*

Way to go! I will soon know the feeling (sort of) when I break the $5000 barrier on my highest rate (not highest balance :p) card!

That's great!! You're almost there! I hit the "under $28k" mark this month. Not exactly the same! LOL Actually, it's under $25k until you count the debt that I just took over for my dh (long story and not as horrible as it sounds) and some old, old 0% indefinite loans we owe our parents.

Keep trucking! Soon, you'll be putting those debt payments into savings and investments. Woo-hoo!

Thanks for everyone's support.

Just to clarify my story. The credit card debt is the FIRST goal I set at the beginning of this year. When this is gone I'll still have plenty more to pay off - car loans, 401(k)loan - just to name a few.

I still have a ways to go but I'm determined.

Julie
