Has anyone actually ever read the back of the cc statement?

All my best,

That's so true Danni. You'd be AMAZED how many balance transfer checks I've received from MBNA now that I've paid them off! Hmm, is this the same company who raised my rate a few months ago b/c they wanted to "encourage" me to pay off my account faster??!!

YEP...I have actually skimmed the back but honestly it boils down to just this...

I just found another interesting tidbit!
All my best,

You are dead on, sister :)
the money I have on the card will sit there churning away at 15.99% forever until I pay the transfer off.....uh......and you want me to transfer $15,000!! NO THANKS.
I could feel her blush!
She kinda stumbled and stuttered and said....ya know.....that is true! (kinda like I just gave her some NEW information)
i think she thought she was helping ppl out of their debt situations by offering the zero percent...but in reality trapping them and the current balance forever....
nope! not interested!
This is great...I am thoroughly enjoying this post....
the allocating funds thing....did ya notice that cash advances (something I was guilty of at one point) are a higher rate and no matter how much you pay, the cash advances never go down until the purchases are paid off?
Maybe thats what you were saying though...sorry if I am being redundant....
I am telling you, once my debt is paid off, I wil NEVER charge again, if i have learned anything valuable, it is how down and dirty those companies are...they sicken me, and I wish that the rest of the world were better educated on this....
as for the interest cap that becky mentioned, I think that varies per state, I know NY caps at 30%, that's why we don't have any of those payday loan places here. They won't make as much....not that I would use one anyway....
I vow, from here on out, to make compound interest work FOR me, rather than against me as soon as all this darn debt is gone...

No worries about the cl hat - I swear I log in sometimes as myself w/o hat, and yet when I post, I have the hat. Grr :)
What you said about the cash advances is absolutely correct.
All my best,
Danni
Just found another gem.
All my best,
