new and at the bottom

Hi I am new but not so new. I have been on this board about 2 years ago however, we fell off the wagon and now have hit rock bottom. I am trying everything possible to move back up and trying to keep my chin up. I am here to hear encouraging words unlike what I have been hearing from so many others. I believe I can do this it will just take time and cutting many expenses that are not needed. I have eliminated our cable, and our main phone(using cell phones only), however, that makes it a little stressful on my job (from home). I just have to send out new info with my cell phone on it just extra work but it has to be done. Anyway, thanks for the ears and I look forward to this board! Peace.

Welcome back. I'm back too, because I just bought a new car. I think I secretly missed everyone after finally becoming debt-free, ha ha!
You know this is the place to be for emotional support. You've seen others get out from under. You're in the right place.
Do you have a plan? There are lots of great ideas on this board. What I did (besides getting two inheritances that helped wipe out all my debt) was visit this board, read Jerrold Mundis' book "How to get out of debt, stay out of debt, and live prosperously", worked two jobs, stopped most entertainment, visited the Compulsive Spenders and Frugal Kitchen boards, and chopped up all my credit cards. ALL of them! Not all at once, mind you... :-)
Prayers and positive thoughts to you.

Welcome back...you know we are all here for you and YES YOU CAN DO IT with work & determination!
You have already started making steps in the right direction!!
I know you said you were here 2 years ago, I don't think we had the snowflaking website up then, I think we were just starting it as a work in progress.
