Things are looking up. I have an interview for a permanent position today. I'll know the details when I get home... I have to do a skill assessment test today as well. (Typing, etc, I do clerical work). We also got a date on my husband's bonus check. Before we just kept getting told in a few weeks. Things are starting to get put back together!

Well my skills assessment went great and so did my interview. I went to the staffing company that is being paid to find someone for a permanent position at a doctors office. There are two positions available and they are recommending me for both of them. I guess we will see what happens.

On a better note we just found out that my husbands bonus check is 4% of his YEARLY salary. That is very well needed. Now if we could just spend it on the bills that are behind. I would love to pay off several of our bills that are behind.

On a worse note, my sister in laws moved out tonight. They have been lying and we simply can't handle the stress. Not to mention the financial burden. Their mom hasn't helped us with a dime- we have just been stretching my husband's pay out for 5 people. (22, 21, 12, 10 and 18 months- not exactly cheap.) My mother in law insists on telling us how to run our house and interferring with the way we run it so she can raise them. We are the third place that they have lived and they are running out of options. Needless to say I'm disappointed in my husband's family and the kids.

Needless to say, we have some mixed emotions tonight.

Hello Stephanie!

Glad to hear that your interview went well, and I wish you good luck and that they send in the job offer quickly!

On the second thing: When you say for yourself that you couldn't really stand the situation anymore and that the trust was already broken between your family and the in-laws, maybe it is not so bad that they decided top move out. It is sad that they are running out of options, as you put it, but maybe it is better for you and your own family when they don't live with you anymore?

Greetings, Jordis

Your right. It is better for my family. It hurts knowing that we have been "outed" from my husband's family. I won't know the difference though because they never really had anything to do with me. It hurts knowing that they are lying about me and talking behind my back. I'll be okay though. Today was just rough. I've been called just about every name out there. They even went so far as to tell my husband to choose: me or them. He chose me and I'm thankful. Still it is tough and frustrating.

Thanks guys! I actually had interview #2 and #3 today. :) I'm so excited. It is a really nice doctors office and they are super organized and nice. I would have benefits that are actually paid for by the 6 doctors in the group! Health Insurance, life insurance, disability and accident insurance! That rocks! I called the staffing agency back and spoke with them and they are going to call me back later today. I'm crossing my fingers!
