Well, It's time for us to tighten our already tight budget even tighter. I don't know if any of your remember our situation but it goes a little like this. My husband and I both work for a local company. He is a driver. I am their bookkeeper (almost full time) . Dh also works part time as an engineer for this great company. Its bascially his dream job and we have been waiting for them to ask him to come on full time. Well, the time has come! I am so proud of him! It really is a fantastic opportunity for him. But.. and there always is a but... it is going to be a paycut for us. You see, we will be losing the income of a second job. Although they are taking him on full time, he won't be eligible for a raise for a few months. Also, we rent out house from our employer (the company we both work for). It is a family run business and they take things personally. I am praying that they don't flip out when DH says he is quitting. I am hoping they won't make us move out, becuase we have no where to go(except my parents) and no money saved. I think we will be fine with the house, as long as he leaves on good terms. We don't even have a lease with them. It's just a deal with our employement there.I know I am worried obsessivley , but we have a two year old and she loves where we live.(on a farm, with cows and chickens and two little boy neighbors that she loves!)

We have been paying down all out bills that are in collection, but we are still a few weeks behind on our credit cards. (he gets a commission check next week and that will pay it) We have been eating out alot lately and taking out daughter to the local fairs (hello? what is with all the fairs in September? There are like 3/week around here!) But we had a talk last night and we are going to cut out unneccessary things. My hubby always gets a buzz haircut and it costs $15, so instead of paying that every few weeks, we are buying clippers for $20 and we will do it ourselves. I don't have any fall clothes for my daughter, so I will be scouring yard sales this weekend. I am so scared of this new change but i am so proud of him! I will be visiting you alot more often here!

Congrats to your husband and yourself. Try not to worry too much, things always tend to work out. Have some faith!
